Breaking it down
I picked that goofy cat to the left (above if you’re on a phone) for a reason. This section is as much the pitch portion of the site as it is an attempt to set the scope. So here’s what I want to cover when this is done:
- Who is doing what
- What happens with the results
- When I spill the beans
- Where it all happens
- Why this experiment exists
And ultimately, how all this gets thrown out the window when you have a better idea than me about literally any of this shit. You good? I’m good, let’s get it…

Step 1: The Make-ening
What I do
This is the meat of the experiment. Here I’m picking a theme out of the hat, and sketching roughs based off that, probably streaming on Discord so we can hang while I do it. These roughs then get posted for the community to vote on. From there, I finish the art and get it production ready, and figure out whats next.
What you do
While I’m working on these sketches, you are hanging out with me, watching the process. But it’s more than that, you will be helping me get the art as good as possible along the way.
Once we get a few sketches done on the theme, you get to vote on which one makes the cut and get’s the final polish. And finally, you help me decide on that polish, from colors to final layout.

Step 2: The Thing-ening
What I do
I lead a back of house tour, showing you our options for things to put the art on. This can range from clothing, prints, accessories and more. Once it’s on all that prices get set, store pages get built and anyone that wants one, gets one.
What you do
You get to help decide all the end points for the art and what it will cost. During all of this, if you have questions or want to know more about the process, we will cover that as well.
This part of the process isn’t going to be that exciting, and might get streamlined down over time, but you will always be invited along for the ride if you want.

Step 3: The Stonk-ening
What I do
At regular intervals, being a couple of times a year possibly, we crack open the books. I show you my terrible book keeping, then we tally up what everything cost, and how much got made.
From here, we take that profit amount, chop it in half, and figure out what causes it goes to.
What you do
You laugh at my impending financial doom. Then some more. Maybe after that you tell me where I’m messing up, so I can reflect on my life. The real fun is after we all agree on what the profit is, which leads to where we spend half. You will drive where that money goes, and who it helps.
Me First…
I want to put some guidelines here, or expectations? What I’m getting at is we should cover some of what I will and will not do in this process:
- I’m doing this for fun, so on that note, I’m likely only going to make art I think I will fundamentally enjoy.
- I will absolutely run with a bad idea, if for nothing else to illustrate that it is one (and for the lulz).
- I will veto things that could get me in deep shit. Please remember that ultimately, I’m the cat that has to answer for all this.
- As a people-first-goofy-nihilist, I reserve the right to pump the brakes on this turning into an activism thing. The project is about art and people, the money can be about causes, if that makes sense.
- I will be as open as possible about every step of this process, and keep the window open for you look in when you want.
- I will not fucks with the money. It’s not the point of this for me.
… And the Gimme Gimmes
And now for the promises I’m willing to make to you, for as long as the doors stay open on this thing:
- You will have a voice throughout this process. The whole point of this is to see how we can collaborate in interesting ways.
- You should mess with me. So long as we’re clear on the difference between trolling and exploring, I’m all about trying to leave my artistic comfort zone.
- You will get to veto me on things. I understand not all my ideas are great, which is why you will get to vote on things.
- You can absolutely ask me anything about the process. I have no problem with this being educational as well as fun if we can swing it.
- You have majority control over the donation process. As long as you keep in mind my stance on things, I won’t push anyone towards anything on this topic.
Is any of this a good idea?
Not sure, but I’m willing to find out if you are 😉 I think at the very least, there could be some interesting art hiding in here. So while you’re deciding if you want to be a part of this, I’ll be drawing weird shit. I’ll leave some links below if you want to hang , and thanks for checking all of this out!
